Morning:
8:00 AM: Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi (train station, bus station, airport, or your hotel). The group departs for Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
Visit Phong Nha Cave
9:00 AM: Arrive at Phong Nha Cave, known as the “First Wonder Cave.” Take a scenic dragon boat ride on the serene Son River, famous for its historical significance. Along the way, enjoy the tranquil countryside scenery, featuring children playing, fishermen casting their nets, and women in traditional attire by the riverbanks.
Explore Phong Nha Cave:
Dubbed the longest water cave in Southeast Asia, Phong Nha Cave boasts mesmerizing underground rivers and stunning stalactites shaped over millions of years. Capture unforgettable moments with your camera amidst the unique formations of nature.
The cave represents exceptional geological and aesthetic values, featuring underground rivers, sandy beaches, and hidden lakes.
Noon:
12:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha, featuring regional specialties. Take a short rest before continuing the journey.
Afternoon:
Visit Vung Chua – Yen Island
2:30 PM: Arrive at Vung Chua – Yen Island, the final resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a revered national hero. Located in Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, this sacred site lies atop Rong Mountain (Thọ Sơn), symbolizing “a dragon coiling and a tiger sitting.”
Pay your respects by offering incense and take time to explore the peaceful surroundings, capturing photos along the Quang Dong coastline.
Da Nhay Beach
3:30 PM: Visit Da Nhay Beach, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, soft sandy shores, and striking rock formations jutting out into the sea. Enjoy swimming, taking memorable photos, or simply relaxing on this picturesque beach.
